Well the Covid crisis has canceled the spring meeting. Next will be in the fall with the same speakers, same place. Date TBD.

I was very impressed BSides Atlanta moved their conference to virtual with a combination of slack and zoom. Wonder why more conferences don't do this, with all the tools we have today?

Would be just a webinar at that point.

IMO the big difference to online meeting vs in person is the opportunity to pull people aside and talk with them one on one. Typically make a handful of contacts at these. The rep for Fieldserver, Intisis, some guy that ran one of the BTL labs, the Jims, some techs from our competition etc. Can't say I ever have randomly met and talked one v one after some webinar.

That's what they used slack for, during the meeting and after. Not really as good as a conference though.
